The real template layout
Panels are placed pixel-for-pixel on Roblox's official classic clothing template, so what you paint is what you wear.
Design Roblox shirts and pants right in your browser. Paint each panel of the official 585×559 template, add images and text, watch the outfit update on a 3D avatar and download a PNG that's ready to upload to Roblox.
Shirts cover the torso and both arms; pants cover the waist, hips and both legs. Switch any time, and the 3D avatar shows both together.
Click a panel with the fill tool to color it, or tick 'Whole part' to color a full sleeve or leg at once. Add a logo-free image, a few words of text, or draw details with the brush.
Drag the avatar to turn it around. If a seam or sleeve looks wrong, the guide overlay shows exactly which panel to fix.
Download the 585×559 PNG and upload it in the Roblox Creator Hub as a classic shirt or pants. Roblox charges 80 Robux per upload.

Every change shows up on a blocky avatar you can rotate, with shirt and pants layered just like in game.
Your images never leave your device. There's no account, no upload and no watermark on your download.
A Roblox clothes maker is an editor that lays your design out on Roblox's classic clothing template, so the finished image wraps correctly around an avatar. Roblox shirts and pants are flat PNG images, 585 pixels wide and 559 pixels tall, split into panels. Each panel becomes one face of a body part: the front, back, sides, top and bottom of the torso, and the four sides plus top and bottom of each arm or leg.
Drawing those panels by hand in Photoshop or GIMP works, but it's easy to put a sleeve on the wrong face or forget the sides of the torso. This tool keeps every panel in place, shows you the result in 3D, and exports the exact size Roblox expects.
| Template | Torso area | Limb panels | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Classic shirt | Full torso (front, back, sides, top, bottom) | Both arms | Shows over pants on the torso |
| Classic pants | Waist and hips on the torso | Both legs | Torso area sits under the shirt |
| Classic T-shirt | Front of the torso only | None | A square image, e.g. 512×512 |
Because shirts are drawn on top of pants, a pants design can show at the bottom of the torso if your shirt leaves it transparent. That's how belts and tucked-in looks are usually made.
If you'd rather describe an outfit than draw it, the Skinomics app for iPhone and iPad turns a sentence like "black bomber jacket with orange sleeve stripes" into a classic shirt or pants template with AI. You can preview it on a 3D avatar and fine-tune it in a template editor. See the step-by-step tutorial for how it works.
