Exact pants panels
Leg and waist panels follow Roblox's official pants template.
Design classic Roblox pants in your browser. Color the waist and both legs on the official template, add pockets, a belt and shoes, check them on a 3D avatar and download the 585×559 pants PNG.
Use the fill tool with 'Whole part' ticked to color a full leg in one click, then do the other leg.
The torso area of the pants template is the waist and hips. Add a belt line at the top of the front, back and side panels.
Paint the bottom strip of each leg panel for shoes, and add pockets or knee pads with the brush.
Check them in 3D under your shirt, then download the 585×559 PNG and upload it as classic pants.
Leg and waist panels follow Roblox's official pants template.
Switch to the shirt tab to see how your pants look under a top on the 3D avatar.
Exports at exactly 585×559 with a transparent background.
Roblox pants use the same 585×559 layout as shirts. The difference is where the panels end up: the torso area becomes the waist and hips, and the two arm areas become the legs. The panel on the left of the template is the right leg; the panel on the right is the left leg.
| Pants area | Where it shows | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Torso front / back / sides | Waist and hips | Put the belt along the top edge |
| Torso down | Underside of the torso | Usually the pants color |
| Leg sides | The four sides of each leg | Pockets on the outer sides |
| Leg bottom (D) | Bottom of the foot | Shoe sole color |
Shirts are drawn on top of pants on the torso, so whatever you paint on the pants torso shows only where the shirt is transparent. That's how tucked-in shirts and visible belts work.
The Roblox Outfit Maker makes matching shirts and pants in one go. For AI-generated pants from a description, the Skinomics app has a Pants option right next to Shirt.
Design them on the 585×559 pants template, download the PNG and upload it as classic pants in the Roblox Creator Hub. Roblox charges 80 Robux per upload.
The right leg is on the left side of the template, and the left leg is on the right, because the template is drawn as if you're facing the avatar.
Color the bottom strip of each leg panel and the bottom (D) face of each leg in your shoe color.
Paint only the top part of each leg panel and leave the lower part transparent so the skin shows.
Your shirt covers the torso. Leave the bottom of the shirt's torso panels transparent, or move the belt lower on the pants.
